The Foothill Flyers Running Club meets weekly at the REI parking lot on the corner of Santa Anita and Santa Clara avenues in Arcadia.
Practices are held Monday through Friday. Lower level swimmers meet from 5 to 6 p.m. while more advanced levels train 6 to 8 p.m. Divisions are based on age and ability level. Swim meets are approximately once or twice a month, year-round, on weekends. All meets are in the greater Los Angeles area. Parent participation is encouraged.

The fee is $85 per participant. Classes are held on Saturdays at Recreation Park.
League registration is already underway and space is limited. The games will be held at the new Dana Gym at 1401 S. First Ave. in Arcadia. The fee is $475 per team.
The cility features a training area, including 12 heavybag stations and a full weight room. Classes are from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. Saturday.
The park offers two sections for free: one has street-type elements such as rails, stairs, ramps, kickers and curved ledges; the other has a kidney-shaped bowl with roll-overs. Safety equipment such as helmets and pads are mandatory. The cility is free of charge.
Arcadia High School hosts competitive swimming for ages 7 to 17 year-round at the AHS pool.
